FYI

The diagnosis is confirmed. I'm infected with variella zoster, a disease generally known as Chicken Pox. It's depressing ;( It's uncomfortable especially with the itchy rash. Not to mention, the bland food. After hibernation for just a day.. Porridge is no longer appealing. Fortunately still able to tolerate Milo & bread, the ever favourite combination food intake for the unwell... hehehe.. Well, apart from the productive day spent on reading.. i'm seriously worried about boredom creeping in the next few days. I've heaped up books which i'd like to accomplish in its reading but i warmly welcome any suggestions to spark up my day ;)

I'd seize this opportunity to blog as well.. although, i do at times suspect if all of my beloved cell members checks the blog. hmmmm ;)

Matthew 14:22-36
Jesus Walks on the Water
22Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowd.23After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray. When evening came, he was there alone,24but the boat was already a considerable distanceGreek many stadia from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it.
25During the fourth watch of the night Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake.26When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It's a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear.
27But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don't be afraid.”
28“Lord, if it's you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.”
29“Come,” he said.Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus.30But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!”
31Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?”
32And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down.33Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.”
34When they had crossed over, they landed at Gennesaret.35And when the men of that place recognized Jesus, they sent word to all the surrounding country. People brought all their sick to him36and begged him to let the sick just touch the edge of his cloak, and all who touched him were healed.

Pipeline to Heaven

Pray for the church and cell as we undergo transition in the cell system.
Jin Swan's degree switching to KDU. We pray a hedge of protection as he enters the new college and into a new surrounding. My he be rooted in his walk with God and lean on HIm during difficult times.
Ameer's cousin, Harpal, met in an accident. Currently in ICU Ipoh. Pray for salvation and speedy recovery. Praise God for His parent's salvation during this turmoil. We believe and trust God's purpose in each of their lives will be accomplished.
Boon Hong's grandma & earlier, Sue's dad suffered from a mild stroke. Pray for healing and importantly Salvation
Marwan's family currently in the country. Pray a hedge of love and protection over the family's reunion
Pray for those entering the workforce soon, Adele and Kat. Pray for wisdom and guidance as they embark on this new phase in life.
Pray for those in the workforce, MeiFong and SueLing. Pray for spirit of excellence, the alignment of their priority, and also for a reduction in their stress level
With the surging food and fuel prices posing an inflationary threat to the world economy, we must pray for God's mercy and provision to shield us and our family from the repercussion. Pray for good stewardship of finances and also security of jobs during this downturn in the economy and the advent of recession.
